Introduction and Personal Commitment – From The Upper Echelons of Life

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The perspective from the upper echelons of life and society in general will continuously improve for you as time goes by and you build upon yourself and your achievements.

There are people out there who are never in the right set of mind, or don’t know what they should focus on in terms of achieving success, nor have a proper definition or measure of success in their mindset. Most people in
Capitalist democracies are raised with the notion that the most highly regarded measure of success is one’s financial wealth. A person who will often stop and think about success as a concept will with time and wisdom come to the inevitable conclusion that money isn’t everything, and definitely should not be considered the all encompassing measure for success. Money and success, when cross analyzed, provide us with the following observations:

  1. You can buy a house with money, but that doesn’t automatically make it a home.
  2. You can buy companionship with money, but it can’t buy you true love and friendship.
  3. You can buy a bed with money, but it won’t eliminate whatever is keeping you up at night.
  4. You can buy pleasurable experiences with money, but you cannot buy inner peace with it.

We can also assess that while standard of living is important, since that is highly reliant on financial wealth, it cannot ultimately and completely effect your quality of life, which is more a matter of philosophical perspective. It can therefore be said that if you solely concentrate on increasing your standard of living, your quality of life might ultimately not be guaranteed to increase as well. On the other hand, if you focus on increasing your quality of life, you can definitely increase your standard of living. Your goals are an attainable target, it’s all a matter of using a combination of self motivation and scientific principles to achieve them. Attempting to give it your best will continually allow you to set a higher standard for yourself that you never thought possible a year ago.

While it is healthy and realistic to realize how tough this can be, the fact that the effort is put into trying is always fruitful to both the human condition and to inching towards to making your goals and ambitions a reality instead of just an idea.

In this series of articles we have designed a system for you to use, that is meant to self motivate by using psychological techniques to get you thinking about what you want out of life in the form of exercises. The best part about this system is not only the psychological side of things, or the self motivation, but also aimed at assisting you in devising an actual, tangible and scientific step by step strategy that will help you achieve your goals, one at a time.
